Ludine Pierre, LPCC, Supervisor (she/her)
BIO:
I’m Ludine, she/her, a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (CA#9688, LPCMHSP TN#4377), as well as a supervisor and therapist.
Relational psychodynamic perspectives inform my approach. I believe that harmonious relationships create pathways for change. This does not mean achieving perfection, or avoiding mistakes but learning how to tolerate the complexities of being human. I work from a trauma-informed lens, integrating knowledge about the nervous system to help clients understand how their brain and body communicate in states of fear or distress. I use somatic theory to support mind-body connection and help individuals align with their values as a guide for transformation. All this is in service to help you get better connected to yourself and to others.
Guiding Principles:
I deeply value being your whole self in the therapy space. Over the years, I’ve come to believe that healing happens through real, human connection–one where all parts of us are welcome. I approach therapy as a collaborative process, meeting each person where they are with respect, curiosity and compassion. My hope is to help people establish acceptance in who they are, highlight what’s working vs not working, deepen self-understanding, and move towards greater self-trust. At the core of my work is a belief that each person’s growth journey is unique and therapy is simply a vehicle to allow you to evolve.
My Style of Therapy:
Supportive
I find that the most meaningful work and healing can happen in spaces that invite you to be yourself. I provide a steady, grounding presence, offering warmth, validation and curiosity as we explore your experiences together.
Direct
I believe in honesty with care. I offer reflections and insights that are clear and to the point, helping to highlight patterns and possibilities for change. Being in therapy with me you’ll find that I ask questions as I want to understand how you see and experience the world. I call things as I see them, gently inviting clients into deeper reflection when ready, and will connect you to resources & help you develop skills to assist you.
Compassionate
Healing happens in connection. I approach our work with deep empathy, honoring your story without judgment and helping you cultivate self-compassion along the way.
Holistic
I integrate the mind-body connection, relational dynamics and the ways the environment shapes a sense of self, offering a whole-person approach to healing. Whether through traditional talk therapy, or ocean-based somatic practices, I create spaces where clients can explore change while respecting their pace.
