Like any form of art, literature can give meaning to collective and personal experiences, name them, normalize them and in doing so create a unique connection to ourselves and others. In this group we want to use a specific work of art, the novel On Earth We Are Briefly Gorgeous by Ocean Vuong, to process personal experiences related to main themes in the book. 

We will provide a space to connect with others around mutual experiences related to multi generational trauma, immigration, racial trauma and sexual orientation, while using this unique and inspiring novel as a point of reference.
