• Therapy generally works best when attended at least 1 time per week and so we request that all new client start with weekly sessions. Our standard session is 45 minutes with longer sessions scheduled when appropriate.

  • We provide a complimentary 15-minute phone consultation to hear more about you, what brings you to therapy, and to discuss the logistics of beginning therapy (fees, scheduling, referrals if needed). If we determine that we are a good fit we will set up our first meeting, in which we will begin to get to know one another and we will learn more about your history and your hopes for therapy. 

  • Our full fees range from $160-$300 for individual and couples therapy and $60-$80 for group therapy all based on length of session and experience of the therapist. You can see the breakdown of fees for each experience level below. All of our therapists also have openings for sliding scale (lower fee) sessions but please note that these often fill up quickly.     When considering what fee works best for you, please note: Given the collaborative and relational nature of our therapeutic work, and informed by research on the most effective treatment, we recommend weekly sessions for the first four months of therapy. This consistent engagement creates the most supportive environment for building a strong therapeutic alliance and achieve your desired outcomes.

  • We are a private-pay, out-of-network provider. While we don't accept insurance directly, your insurance plan may have out-of-network benefits, which means that they will reimburse you for a portion of our session cost. I have partnered with Thrizer to handle the out-of-network process automatically for you.

    How it works:

    1. I will email you a link to create your Thrizer account. OR you can create a profile and check your benefits ahead of time here.

    2. Add your insurance information and a payment method to set up your account

    3. Review your out-of-network benefits and estimated co-insurance to clarify any questions you have

    4. I will charge you via Thrizer for our appointments

    Please note: They charge a 5% fee (of my rate) if you would like to just pay a copay; you will pay that fee at the time of our session along with your copay. If you are okay paying my full fee and waiting for reimbursement, you have the option to choose that route instead for just a 1% fee. That fee gets deducted from the reimbursement that comes to your bank account. If you are still working towards a deductible, you do not pay any fees.
