COPING WITH ANXIETY: A DBT Skills Group
Are you feeling overwhelmed by anxiety? Do you find yourself struggling to cope with difficult emotions? You’re not alone and can experience relief from this.
DBT, or Dialectical Behavior Therapy, is a comprehensive treatment approach that teaches individuals how to manage their emotions, improve their relationships, and increase their mindfulness. Our group will provide you with a safe and supportive environment to learn and practice DBT skills, including:
Mindfulness: Learning to be present in the moment and accepting your thoughts and feelings without judgment.
Distress tolerance: Developing strategies to cope with difficult emotions and situations.
Interpersonal effectiveness: Improving your communication and relationship skills.
Emotion regulation: Learning to identify and manage your emotions in a healthy way.

Details
When: 12-week group, Fridays at 11a. Starting in September.
Who: 5-10 Individuals that have experienced the impact of anxiety and want to learn skills to keep anxiety from ruling their existence

How Much: $60 for initial intake session with Shelly, $60 per group paid in 3 installments of $240. Payment plans available.
